Teoh Beng Hock was a Malaysian journalist and political aide to a Selangor state government state executive council member. On July 15 2009, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) detained and interrogated him about allegations of corruption. He was found dead the next morning on the rooftop of a building next to the MACC offices.
